Watford enjoys good transport links into the centre of London, with regular direct trains from Watford Junction and Watford High Street to London Euston taking around 50 minutes.
The town is also well served by major road routes, being just a few minutes’ drive to join the M1 and around 10 minutes’ drive to the M25, allowing a good commute from the all areas of North London and the surrounding home counties.
Coffee
If you like to support local independent coffee places for your morning caffeine hit, try out Ocean Bells Coffee, 133 High St, who always have a guest coffee to try and will grind beans to order if you would like to take some home.
Café Bianco, 19-21 The Parade, an Italian family run café is another great option, especially if you wanted to pick up Italian pastries enroute or stop off for a full fry up.
The usual chains are also available in the centre of Watford, if you are loyal to a particular brand; Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Café Nero and Pret a Manger.
