Charles Cameron & Associates is one of the UK’s leading mortgage brokers.  We offer expert advice to first-time buyers and those remortgaging, home movers, investing in buy-to-let investment properties, or considering later life lending such as equity release mortgages.  We specialise in supporting the financial wellbeing initiatives of over 1,100 corporate partners, by providing education, support, advice and application services to over 1.7m employees, via our 120+ Professional Advisers, based throughout the UK.

For our corporate clients we offer 1-2-1 in office or virtual appointments with a dedicated mortgage adviser at no cost to either the employer or the employee.

We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service and currently have a 5* google review rating with over 3,400 reviews, a trust pilot score of 4.7 and a Net Promoter Score of 91.

We have over 20 years of experience, as we were established in 2004 by CEO Simon Nimmo. Our Head Office has been based at Blackfriars Foundry since 2013.

Why did you choose LentaSpace Blackfriars Foundry to base your company?

Managing Director Simon Nimmo explains how the decision came about, “I didn’t want to enter into another long lease, so we looked at serviced offices to give us that financial flexibility.  LentaSpace offered us a great deal to move to them and they have always looked after us.”

“We originally took offices at another LentaSpace building, Delta House in Borough Market. We loved it there, but our company outgrew the available office space, so we moved to Blackfriars Foundry when we expanded. Originally, we had 3 office spaces on the ground floor and due to further growth, we decided that we wanted a more complete office suite that we could configure ourselves.”

“We worked with LentaSpace’s Property team to create a bespoke, branded 70 desk office, which includes our own breakout space, meeting rooms and call pods. “We are thrilled with the results”, says Simon. “The space feels like a real home for the team and is an impressive place to meet clients.”

What works for you about Blackfriars Foundry?

Client Success Manager Luke Ferguson finds SE1 a really convenient location, “I cycle in as I live locally, which is great.  Most of the team travel into central London from the home counties, so being located between Waterloo and London Bridge stations is perfect.”

The team also appreciate the high-quality facilities in the building, “As a cyclist, I really value the bike store and showers.  I also make good use of the Peloton room! Having a café onsite is something that the team really make the most of, as it’s so quick to pop down and grab a coffee.”

Simon also appreciates that the building details are all managed for him. “Everything works. We have our own IT guys, but they liaise with the LentaSpace team and everything runs smoothly. Everything gets fixed quickly.  The team here – Edgar and Doreen – look after us really well and are always super responsive if we need anything. They are so helpful. Every time I walk into the reception I get a warm welcome from Doreen and that makes a difference to my day.”

So, is Simon ever tempted to go back to managing his own office? “In these times you don’t want a big office with a long lease. Businesses are too cyclical for that. I have no intention of leaving The Foundry. We feel at home here, it feels comfortable for our business.”
